What is Baccarat?
A card game where you bet on the Banker hand, the Player hand or a Tie. The Banker bet carries the lowest house edge.
Baccarat is a simple card game where two hands, the Banker and the Player, are dealt and the one closest to nine wins. You are not playing a hand yourself; you are betting on which side will come out ahead, or on a tie.
It appeals to many people because there are no decisions to learn once your bet is placed, and the house edge is low. The Banker bet has the best odds for the player and usually pays even money minus a small commission. The Tie bet looks tempting but carries a much higher edge, so most regular players avoid it.
It is a popular live dealer choice. For the rules and bet types in full, see our baccarat guide. 18+, play within a set budget.
