iGaming Glossary / Wagering Requirement
What is Wagering Requirement?
How many times you must bet a bonus before you can withdraw, for example 35x. Also called playthrough or rollover.
A wagering requirement is the number of times you must bet a bonus before any winnings from it can be withdrawn. It is shown as a multiplier such as 35x. A 50 euro bonus at 35x means you must place 1,750 euros in total bets to unlock it.
It can apply to the bonus only, or to the deposit plus the bonus, which roughly doubles the work. Game weighting also matters, since slots usually count fully toward the target while table games may count little or not at all.
Lower numbers are better, and 35x or below is generally fair. The terms playthrough and rollover mean the same thing. See casino bonuses explained before you claim.
