iGaming Glossary / Cashback
What is Cashback?
A promotion that returns a set percentage of your losses over a period, sometimes as cash and sometimes as bonus funds.
Cashback is a promotion that gives you back part of what you have lost over a set period, such as a day, a week or a month. A typical offer might return ten percent of net losses up to a cap.
It softens a losing streak and is often part of a loyalty or VIP programme. The key detail is the form it comes in. Real money cashback can usually be withdrawn straight away, while bonus cashback carries wagering rules before you can cash it out. The percentage, the cap and any minimum loss also vary widely.
Read the terms so you know exactly what you are getting. Cashback returns losses; it does not turn a losing habit into a winning one. 18+, and play within your means.
