What is Bankroll?

The money you set aside for play. Deciding a bankroll in advance, and stopping when it is gone, is the core of staying in control.

Your bankroll is the pot of money you have set aside specifically for gambling, kept separate from rent, bills and savings. Thinking in terms of a bankroll turns vague spending into a clear, planned amount.

Setting one in advance is the single most useful habit a player can build. It lets you decide before any emotion kicks in how much you are willing to risk, and it gives you a firm point at which to stop. Splitting it into smaller session amounts can stop one bad run from wiping out the whole lot.

A bankroll only works if you respect it and never top it up to chase losses. Deposit limits at responsible gambling can lock the amount in for you. 18+.
