iGaming Glossary / Game Show
What is Game Show?
A live entertainment format such as a money wheel, hosted by a presenter rather than dealt as a classic table.
Game shows are a live casino category built around a TV style format instead of a traditional table. A presenter hosts the action from a studio, spinning a big wheel, rolling dice in a dome, or running a bonus round. Popular examples use a money wheel or a quiz wheel with multipliers attached.
They sit somewhere between a slot and a table game. The rules are usually simple: you bet on where the wheel will stop or which outcome lands, then watch it play out in real time. Many of them add multiplier moments that can lift a win sharply.
Because they lean on big graphics and lively hosts, game shows tend to have higher variance and a larger house edge than blackjack or baccarat. They are made for fun and atmosphere. Learn more in our live casino guide.
