iGaming Glossary / Rollover
What is Rollover?
Rollover is another name for a wagering requirement: how many times you must bet a bonus before you can withdraw.
Rollover is simply another word for a wagering requirement. It describes how many times you must bet a bonus, and sometimes the deposit too, before any winnings tied to it can be withdrawn. A 30x rollover on a 50 unit bonus means staking 1,500 units in total first.
Different games count differently toward the rollover, so slots often count fully while table games count little or nothing. That is set by game weighting, which the terms spell out.
Since the two terms mean the same thing, you can read our fuller explanation under wagering requirement. Always check the number before accepting an offer, because a high rollover can make a generous looking bonus hard to clear.
